Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
Studio 3000 LLC ("Studio 3000," "we," "us," "our") operates consumer iOS applications and the website studio-3000.com. This policy explains what data our apps and website collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to all Studio 3000 apps available on the Apple App Store and to studio-3000.com.
2. Information Our Apps Collect
Device Permissions
Our apps may request access to device capabilities required for core functionality. You grant these permissions through iOS system prompts and can revoke them at any time in Settings. Current permissions by app:
- Camera: Used to display a live camera feed within the app. Camera frames are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
Locally Stored Preferences
Our apps store user preferences (such as display settings and onboarding state) locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Photos & Media
When you capture a photo within our apps, it exists in device memory only. If you choose to save or share it, that action is handled by iOS's native share sheet. We have no access to where you send it.
3. Information Our Apps Do NOT Collect
We want to be explicit about what we do not do:
- We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number) through our apps.
- We do not collect device identifiers (IDFA) or create advertising profiles.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not access your contacts, calendar, health data, or photos library.
- We do not use cookies or tracking pixels in our apps.
- We do not sell or share any data with data brokers or advertisers.
- We run no ads in our apps. Ever.
4. Analytics & Crash Reporting
We use privacy-respecting analytics and crash reporting to understand how our apps are used and to fix bugs. Some apps may ship with these SDKs present but inactive until configured. When enabled:
- Analytics (Mixpanel): Anonymized usage events (such as screens viewed and features used). No personally identifiable information is attached. We use this data to improve app experience, not to build advertising profiles.
- Crash Reports (Sentry): Technical data about app crashes (such as device model, OS version, and stack traces). This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports do not include personal data.
Data collected by these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not use this data to identify individual users.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Our apps may offer premium features via subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). Apple's privacy policy governs payment data.
We may use a subscription management service (such as RevenueCat) to manage entitlements. This service receives only an anonymous app-specific identifier from Apple, not your name, email, or payment details.
6. Website (studio-3000.com)
Our website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It collects no personal data:
- No analytics or tracking scripts.
- No cookies or local storage.
- No forms or user accounts.
- Cloudflare may process standard request data (IP address and user agent) as part of hosting. Studio 3000 does not access this data. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
The only data exchange occurs if you email us via a contact link, which is handled entirely by your email client.
7. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data Retention
- Local app data (preferences, settings) persists until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Crash reports and analytics (when active) are retained by third-party processors per their retention policies, typically 90 days or less.
- We do not maintain any server-side databases of user information.
9. Your Rights & Choices
- Permissions: You can revoke any app permission at any time via iOS Settings.
- Analytics opt-out: You can limit analytics via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
- Delete local data: Uninstalling an app removes all locally stored data.
- Contact us: You can request information about your data or ask questions by emailing us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of our apps or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
